qi ma Advisory Services e.U. (hereinafter: qi ma) complies with the statutory provisions in all data processing operations (e.g. collection, processing and transmission). The following statement gives you an overview of what type of data is collected and how it is used and passed on, what security measures qi ma takes to protect your data and how you can exercise your rights.

§ 1. Collection, use and storage of personal data

If you use qi ma’s online service, qi ma collects various data from you, some of which are also so-called personal data. This is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person, such as your name, address or telephone number.

1. Visiting qi ma websites in general

When you visit qi ma websites, you transmit data to our web server via your Internet browser (for technical reasons). The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your Internet browser and our web server:

• Date and time of the request
• Name of the requested file
• Page from which the file was requested
• Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
• Web browser and operating system used
• Full IP address of the requesting computer
• Amount of data transferred

For reasons of technical security, in particular to ward off attempts to attack our web server, we store this data for a short time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual people based on this data.

Further personal information is only recorded if you provide it voluntarily, for example as part of an inquiry or registration. Depending on the area concerned, qi ma uses the personal data you provide to answer your inquiries, to process your order and for the purpose of technical administration of the websites. 2. Contact forms

If you contact qi ma via a contact form on the qi ma website, your form of address, your name, your address, your email address and telephone number, and the area to which your request relates will be saved so that your message entered in the “Comments” field can be forwarded to the right contact person straight away. Your data provided via a contact form will not be used for other purposes, in particular not for advertising. After your request has been processed, we will delete your request and the associated personal data.

3. Newsletter

You can receive our email newsletter by registering with an email address, first name and last name and expressly consenting to the dispatch by ticking a checkbox provided for this purpose.

After you have given your consent, which you will also receive as a confirmation email, we will then use your email address as the recipient address for newsletter emails, through which you will be regularly informed about current offers and our services. This data processing is carried out based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 lit a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time, for example by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter, or by sending an email to office (at) qima.eu

§ 2. Disclosure and deletion of personal data

1. Visiting the qi ma websites

The data stored when you simply visit qi ma websites (§ 1) will not be passed on to third parties.

2. Contact form

The data that you have entered in a qi ma online contact form will not be passed on to other third parties unless you are specifically informed of this.

3. Newsletter

The email address you provided for newsletter registration will not be passed on to third parties. We only use The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp (675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, Georgia, 30308, United States of America) for data processing on our behalf.

4. Transmission to authorities and other public bodies

Your data will only be passed on to third parties if the responsible public body or government institution orders the disclosure in individual cases, in which case qi ma is obliged to do so.

§ 3. Security notice

1. General technical and organizational measures:

qi ma has taken a variety of security measures to protect personal information to an appropriate extent and adequately.

All data stored at qi ma is protected by physical and technical measures as well as procedural measures that restrict access to the information to specifically authorized persons in accordance with this data protection declaration.

The qi ma websites are located behind a software firewall to prevent access from other networks connected to the Internet. In addition, only employees who need the information to perform a specific task are given access to personal information. These employees are trained in security and data protection practices and treat your data confidentially.

§ 4. Cookies

1. Web analysis/statistics

Our website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics (https://www.google.com/intl/de_at/analytics/), a software provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Cookies (small text files) stored on your computer are used to analyze user behavior on our homepage and this information is used to continuously optimize our services. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

§ 5. Your rights

1. Information

You have the right to information about the data stored about you, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of the data processing at any time.

2. Objection

You can object to the future processing of data concerning you at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. The objection can be made in particular against processing for direct marketing purposes.

3. Revocation of consent (e.g. newsletter dispatch)

You can revoke the consent you have given for qi ma to use your personal data, for example for sending the qi‑ma newsletter, at any time. If you would like to withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter, please click on the “Unsubscribe from newsletter” link at the bottom of one of the newsletter emails you receive. 4. Your other rights

You have the right to rectification or erasure or restriction of the processing of your personal data, a right to object to processing for the future and a right to data portability.

As a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates data protection regulations.
